About Us

Our idea for WEBE was born out of the necessity to add more color to the world. Every building and every facility is made of the same materials and colors. 

We started adding color to things we knew best: jewelry. We are a family business for 35+ years that is looking to expand into fun ventures.

Our primary question was always:

Why does jewelry have to be confined to 4 or 5 colors?
How do we achieve this goal without looking like costume jewelry?

Through convincing factories to work with us, we ended up coating everything using PVD technology. However, we hit a roadblock as the colors faded, and the color variety itself was extremely limited.

After losing a whole bunch of money 😔, we decided to contact a local amulet painter, who primarily paints religious figurines to be worn around the neck. After convincing them to try this new form and material, we realized the colors work.

We started to worry about how there may be chip damage to the paint structure, but after using them for a long time, the color stood.

This was a year of research and development, and we have finally come to a point in our business where we can share our findings with the world. We can finally add color. We are so proud of our point of passion, and how far we were able to go.
